A Journey to Ashiatsu

I have a passion for Ashiatsu massage.  I began my studies in Portland, Oregon in late 2018.  I began studying Deepfeet with Nancy Delong.  I practiced the seated technique at Natural Approach Chiropractic in Bend, Oregon, along with my therapeutic deep tissue.  I then moved to California with my husband Dan, and we settled in San Clemente.  I then began to further my studies with Aimee Phillips, and  Brenda Blakesley , learning the foundation of the SAMBA method.  I then took a refresher course with Deepfeet.  I have a strong foundation in Ashiatsu, and I am so excited to share this healing art form with you.

It is also the only style of massage that has decreased my wrist pain, when I have been a receiver. 

Before Ashiatsu, I primarily focused on therapeutic deep tissue, and injury work.  I worked a Mississippi Chiropractic in Portland, OR, and I had the great pleasure of working with Lisa Bourlon at Balance Therapeutic Massage & Core Fitness, and her husband Patrick Bourlon at Active Chiropractic.

I have also owned and operated my own businesses since 2004, beginning in Milwaukee, WI, moving to Portland, OR, and then to Bend, OR. , San Clemente, California, and now, hopefully lastly Redmond, OR.

Before discovering Ashiatsu, I was briefly a property manager, and small Business owner of Desert Flowers Property Management LLC.  This was a 4 year venture in Bend, OR.

I hoped to hang my hat  in San Clemente with my incredibly loving and kind husband Dan Neumann, but the cost of living went up to high.  We are now back in Central Oregon, Redmond excited to become immersed in this lovely town. 

I can't wait to share my passion, knowledge and expertise with this community to help in healing through the profoundly relaxing technique of Ashiatsu.
